Chen & Hu - Wanaka Helicopter Elopement Wedding at Roys Peak

Chen and Hu travelled over from China to elope on a beautiful spring day. We started with some warm up photoshoot in Arrowtown with stunning cherry blossom, to capture some of their anticipated mood.
After finished makeup & hair style at edge water hotel, we heading to helicopter hangar, the elopement wedding ceremony was on Coromandel Peak. also know as Roy’s Peak, it’s one of New Zealand’s most popular locations to land for Wedding & Elopement. Coromandel Peak is a peak which sit’s slightly below the famous instagram spot of Roy’s Peak on the same mountain. Chen and Hu were committed to spending the rest of lifetime together. On the vow of the groom Chen which is a Physics teacher, he said: If you ask me why did I choose her, I must say I don’t know, but what I know is I can not live without her. I can’t find a word in perceptual word to describe this kind of love, but I found a rational word: gravity. Without gravity the rivers stops running, stars will not shine, time will lost the meaning. We like the earth and sun, influences to each other, from the beginning to eternity.
We had a lot of fun on the mountain top. Once the helicopter fun was over, we finished up with a few photos on a quiet end of Wanaka lakeside.
